Hungary Car Sales : 2017


The last two years have seen strong increases in total sales, with 25 and 20% improvements. The total is still well short of the best years a decade and more ago, but a clear indicator things are on the up.

Suzuki manufactures cars here and that does make a difference. It jumped into #1 spot last year and consolidated that in 2017. Mind you this isn't something new. Suzuki took over from Opel in 1997 and remained there until 2010, when VW and then Ford had the lead for one year each. Then Opel was back 2012 until 2015.
