Greece Car Sales : 2017


Total sales for thhe first six months were +6% but by year's end it was 12%. In the noughties (I 'm not comfortable with that term) exceeding 250k was the norm so the 88,000 this year is still well short of those heady days. Still, the movement is in the right direction and we all know Greece has had some tough economic times of late.

In the 70's it was Fiat top, then Nissan in the Eighties and during the 90's Toyota took over during that decade. The latter has mainly been top with a few exception. Toyota slipped this year, giving Nissan a sniff of the top spot. VW, Peugeot and Fiat all past a falling Opel. Hyundai have been all over the place for the last five years so where they are heading now!
