Car Sales Lebanon: 2012

By 2012, Hyundai and Kia had secured the top two spots in the market, with combined penetration of 45%. Add Nissan and three brands exceed 60%, which is surprising in a country that has no car industry that would attract partisan support. As neither the top two brands stir any emotion within me, their success is not something I can relate to. However, they certainly strike a chord with people in Lebanon.

The list below is colour coded according to regions the brand is associated with. Yellow is Asia, salmon Japan. North America is dark blue and Europe light blue.
