Israel / Chile JLR Comparison : 2010-16

One of the more unusual comparisons is this one. Middle East and South America. However, both are in the 240,000 area, they also have similar sales of premium vehicles which in both cases is they don't do that well. So how does JLR fare?

Israel: LR has 0.9% market share and Jaguar 0.4%. Sales haven't grown that well considering the new models that have been introduced. Jaguar takes a solid 29.3% of the total.

Chile: LR does a much better 0.21% here and Jaguar matches Israel with a 0.4%. Jaguar only has 15.9% of the JLR total , although it rose to 30% in 2016. The combined figure is 0.25%, about double that of Israel.

Summary: I would have thought that Israel would have been a stronger market for JLR, especially with its association with the UK in its recent past. However, it's the Chileans that appreciate the LR much more, with preference for Jaguar identical.
