Toyota is top in both, with slightly higher penetration in Australia. Otherwise Australians favour Mazda, Hyundai, Kia, VW and Subaru. New Zealanders prefer Ford, Holden, Nissan and Suzuki. What surprises the most is that GM Holden is an Australian brand name but it does better in NZ. As well Ford is well ahead in NZ, showing a strong support for the two US brands.
