France Car Sales Jan-Jun 2017


Not too much is happening in 2017, with the first six months up 1.6% and YTD 3%. Renault is the top brand and has been for as long as anyone cares to know such things. Likewise, Peugeot and Citroën have been the next two brands so at the top, it is the same three. Those three brands took 47.9% of the total, the best since 2011. It was over 60% in 2002! No local bias to speak of then.

VW took quite a hit as did the premium brands, especially poor local marque DS which is taking longer to get sorted than anticipated.
