Luxembourg Sales - Brand / Jan-Jun 2016

The market in 2016 seems quite buoyant although not so good for the best selling brands. Four of the top five makes have lost market share but it's nothing too startling. Many smaller marques have had a good year so far.

A couple of things are not right. The DS figure from 2015 was not a full year of sales, the first part of the year they were still grouped with Citroën. This creates a larger decrease for the latter and an artificial increase for the former.

Likewise Jaguar and Land Rover sales come in four entities. It's impossible to know which are which and this happened in 2015 too. Those listed as Jaguar are counted such. All the others, even if including Jaguar in the name along with LR I have classified as LR. I tried to find out what was going on and while the replies were prompt, I couldn't get it sorted. The alternative is combine them, which I have resisted so far but may have to.
