Production volumes have increased for the third consecutive year, albeit in small increments. It is one of the best totals ever. Of course the data is for Germany only, not production for the brand worldwide. They all did well except GM, where vehicle production ended at the Borchum plant. That is a one off so should level off for 2016.
For 2016, it would be expected that VW would have some reduction, but not by a large amount. Overall I would think that total production would slip slightly, but nothing exceptional. Germany is still the major car maker for the region by some margin and that will continue.
