Car Sales North England Top 5 By Region : 2014

The top of England has been divided up into three areas, with the top 5 from each area. There isn't that much difference with brands, but how they are placed is.

                             **********

NW (or mainly Lancashire) is stable, with Nissan doing slightly better than the UK average but other brands much the same. The area where most cars are sold in the north.

Y&H or east of the Pennines, has BMW doing very well. There must be some well heeled folk in the region. They're very canny in Yorkshire.

The NE is very much working class and new car sales are not that high. It is also where Nissan has a huge assembly plant, yet that didn't stop the brand dropping to 4th. Ford managed a decrease and GM Vauxhall went top.
