Car Sales By Brand Vietnam : 2014

As usual, getting all sales for a given market in Asia is a challenge. Car assembly data is available for Vietnam from VAMA and that makes up the basis for the statistics below. VAMA members will also import some models, but they are not included in the figures below. Imports are heavily taxed so few mainstream models are imported.

Then I decided to add the premium marques Mercedes, BMW, Audi and Lexus. They have personally released full sales data in some form, which makes up their totals. I added them to the VAMA assembly figures to give a broader view of the market. Toyota are the clear leader as they are in many nations. Ford, GM and the Asian brands listed all have assembly operations and dominate sales. Premium brands are all imported apart from Mercedes, which does some local assembly.
