Car Sales By Brand Romania : 2014

A successful model for Dacia, the Duster

Over 300,000 cars were sold in Romania in 2008, then things turned pear shaped. A 21.6% increase for 2014 is promising, but still well short of the crazy sales of a few years ago. The local brand Dacia is the top seller and has been holding it's share well. It is a success story for owner Renault, one it no doubt wants to repeat with Lada. Ford and Nissan both went well, but once popular and now departing Chevrolet understandably slumped.
