Moldova Sales By Brand : 2013

A nice place to visit no doubt

The Republic of Moldova has only existed since 1991. It is a small country and new car sales are relatively small as well. Still, if you are like me then what happens in Moldova is of interest.

Sales statistics for some nations takes persistence, hence the lateness of this list. An 8% increase was a positive for the country, and the pink colour shows those that really took advantage of the growth. yellow is a case of better luck next year.

Romanian brand Dacia did really well, taking it's market share to over 20%. Back in 2009 for example, it was just under 7%. Chevrolet bucked the trend and had a real sales slump. Korean brands are liked here as are Land Rovers at 12th place. The total figure is indicative only as the few places I saw total sales differed slightly from each other. It's not far wrong, if at all.
