Range Rover Sales By Nation: 2012 (Exclusive)

The big Range Rover comes in two guises, which are really two differing vehicles. Unfortunately in some places, sales are erroneously combined because of the names used. Therefore, below is a list of RR sales, then RR Sport and finally combined for those places that put them together. In the case of NZ, the combined figure includes the Evoque which is a RR too, so I have included the figure for interest rather than accuracy.

First up the RR. It is now being replaced with the new model (above), one that improves it a fair bit by all accounts. For this reason, RR sales were down in many places with the new model so close.

The figures second from right are increase/decrease. The extreme right hand figure the percentage share of total sales for the model.

The USA is the home of the Range Rover. They love its size, style and quality. They will love the new one even more, but will have to be patient as for now at least demand is higher than production. Well worth the wait.

Now for the Sport model:

Iceland 1  -

Plenty of sales increases here, with mainly depressed Europe providing the minuses. A popular model in the Gulf states it seems.

Finally those combined RR/RRS sport figures:

1
France 1,561 3% 1.9%
2
Brazil 439 -63% 0.5%
3
Ukraine 334 -28% 0.4%
4
Austria 292 -12% 0.3%
5
NZ 256 35% 0.3%
6
Sweden 154 -18% 0.2%
7
Egypt 70     ?
8
Israel 59     ?
9
Norway 48 85%
10
Liechtenstein 15 -16%

The market share figure here is against total RR/RRS sales. Brazil is well down due to increased duty on imported vehicles. The NZ figure is up thanks to the Evoque being in there. Bizarre.
