Car Sales Netherlands: 2011

The Netherlands seem to have had their best year for car sales since 2000. VW is making this market save for years to come. French brands did OK too, not so the case with most countries. On the other hand, every Japanese make apart from Lexus lost market share.

34 Saab 600 0.1%
35 Jaguar 350 0.1%
Others 1,630 0.3%
Total 555,900 15.1% increase

Big winners were Renault (+32.1%), Kia (+48.5%), Seat (+45.6%), Alfa (+103%) and lexus (+300%). Poor results for Toyota (-13.4%), Honda (-32.2%) and Daihatsu (-46.7%).

I am not sure why there are so many 'others', it is like this each year. Anyway. strong market in the low country for 2011.

My guess: A solid year for 2012 again.
