Car Sales Aston Martin By Country : 2010

Getting Aston Martin sales is not easy, and the company even declines to give worldwide sales figures. So what I have gleaned, I will share and I'm sure deep down CEO Dr Bez will smile with approval.
Aston Martin were selling 600-700 vehicles in the 1990's, then moved over the 1,000 mark as the new century commenced. Sales increased quickly after 2003, until a peak of 7,000 in 2007. The economic downturn then hit, and sales have leveled at 4,500 presently.
Nearly 50% of all Aston Martin sales are in the USA and the UK, but it was nearer 70% in 2005. The Middle East and Asia are where sales are moving, but I do not have data for those regions. Even in some Western markets, AM sales figures elude me. I don't get the secrecy.
As new figures come to hand, or if the AM PR dept stumps up with a list of sales for me, I will duly pass it on. Now for 2010 sales as I know of them, minimum ten sales to qualify:

Country/Sales/Share of AM sales
1 UK 1,080 26.0%
2 USA 840 20.2%
3 Germany 448 10.8%
4 Switzerland 211 5.1%
5 France 207 5.0%
6 Japan 121 2.9%
6 Australia 121 2.9%
8 China 120 2.9% (approximate)
9 Belgium 106 2.6%
10 Italy 82 2.0%
11 Singapore 34 0.8%
12 Spain 32 0.8%
13 Luxembourg 28 0.7%
14 Netherlands 28 0.7%
15 NZ 25 0.6
16 Portugal 21 0.5%
Czech Rep 19 0.5%
Denmark 18 0.4%
Sweden 17 0.4%
Austria 14 0.3%
Lebanon 12 0.3%
Rest 499 12% share.
Total 4,156

If anyone can add to the list, please let me know. The US figure is a little uncertain. Last updated 30.01.12
