Car Sales Romania: 2010


Car sales in Romania were 315,000 in 2007, but in 2010 were a comparatively miserable 106,000. Local brand Dacia dominates but European brands are strong also. Neither Japanese nor premium brands are in the top ten, although BMW had a strong year. Hyundai managed a -59% and Kia -89% for an annus horribilis for the Korean duo. Many small brands are not included in the sales total it seems, not that it makes much difference.
