Car Sales Sweden: 2010

According to BIL Sweden, sales of cars increased 35.7% in 2010 which was the best year for total sales since 2007. Noticeable was top marque Volvo having its worst year of the decade for market penetration, whereas second placed VW had its best. Will VW take top spot in a few years to come?

Another feature was the improvement of Saab sales toward the end of the year. Traditionally always in second place behind Volvo, this year it fell to 13th. However, 2010 finished well and 2011 should see the brand's resurgence under its new owner.
