Car Sales Slovakia: 2010


The Slovakian car market held up pretty well over the economic downturn, however, it may have caught up with the country in 2010 as sales fell 21.5%. Leading brand Skoda only fell 10%, so increased market share from 16.7% to 19.2%. Second place Renault had a year to forget, while VW jumped three places to third. Inexpensive makes Chevrolet and Dacia both dropped substantially but it was a good year for premium marques.
