Car Sales MINI: 2010


When BMW launched a pricey and rather large MINi on the world in 2001, their target of 100,000 sales looked optimistic. 2010 witnessed 234,175 MINIs find new homes around the world, the highest yet and just eclipsing the 2008 record by about 2,000 units. Of course, without the new countryman coming on stream in late 2010, the new sales record would not have been set, but a meritorious result nevertheless.
China had a massive 141% growth, Korea did well too with +56% and Brazil +63%. (The Brazil figure below is maybe 95% right).
