Car Sales Belgium: 2010


The Belgians certainly like cars as they buy them in great quantities. The market itself was the best of the decade which proves my point. Not only that, but even exotic marques are well supported. For example 106 Aston Martins, 99 Ferrari, 68 Lotus and 29 Morgans. All this in a tiny country.
For the bigger players, Renault not only held on to top spot, but also improved its share. VW could only helplessly watch on. With a large French speaking population, it does not surprise that French brands take three of the top four places. Korean brands, whilst doing well elsewhere are largely ignored.
In the chart below, italicised figures at the end of each line indicates a drop in market share. Now for the top 30:
